I heard an ad on lame fm while driving back to Amherst for koolaid. It went something like "during these tough economic times, hydrate your family with a drink that's only pennies per gallon." Yummy. Carleen liked it.

A related issue: I saw a television commercial for high fructose corn syrup yesterday which was immediately followed by a commercial for Jenny Craig. I was torn.

We talked about these ads in my public policy/health class on Thursday. There's a boy that sits in the back that yells out "conspiracy!" every time such topics arise in lecture. He makes me nervous.
